My work focuses on two main subjects: the exploration of organic shapes in nature and the female identity in society, often mixing the two in works. Specific plants and flowers are chosen for their visual shorthand to portray different meanings and symbolism. Most of the work is created with watercolors, a medium historically meant for women. Creating through the lens of traditional femininity, I use plants and other organic shapes to evoke different emotions in my imagery.
