My work centers around the pursuit of taking something others find generally unpleasant or grotesque and artistically turning it into something charming or empathetic. My subjects range from monsters and teeth to bugs and reptiles. My top priority as an illustrator is clarity, and my goal is to successfully convey emotion and personality through a non-human creature in order to make connections with viewers through them.
