My work visualizes my personal interpretation of social standards, mental illness, and self-identity. I examine how these concepts and our interactions with society impact humanity. I convey my own struggles in a context that others can relate to. By illustrating these concepts, I hope that others will reflect upon their own struggles with the pressures of society. I express my personal opinion of humanity and how social pressures affect us in an imperfect way. My concepts and ideas are developed abstractly and intuitively, using various mediums and textures. I spend time developing characters and narratives that are somewhat unsettling because they more directly and authentically represent my view of the world.
