Through photography, I display varying fragments of myself, which also include imagery of my family. I am interested in family and family dynamics, as it holds a different truth for many. I became interested in family when I realized I have a large amount of access to my subjects. I find it interesting that while I use my family as my subjects, I am often still left disconnected and searching for more information about them. I use photography as a mutual language between my bilingual family to understand who they are and who they were before I came to know them as my family members.
