Since moving away from my family in 2018 to attend the University of Arizona, my work revolves around new themes– ideas of landscape, family, and time. My practice then works through how each of these themes intersects in various ways. Due to the pandemic, working in the darkroom was a lot harder due to access to the facilities. It eventually led me to create my own darkroom in my bedroom closet, allowing me to develop and scan all the film I shoot for my work.
