As a student Graphic Designer who is obtaining her BFA in graphic design/illustration, I have gained a lot of my experience through learning at the University of Arizona. I have had countless outstanding learning lessons and, of course, setbacks that have made me even stronger and gain resilience. My artwork expresses authenticity, growth, societal impacts, and simply the art of creating anything I want to create.
As a college student, we are exposed to so many experiences, whether trying to find your purpose in life and where you belong. I create artwork that expresses a bright, reflective, and cheerful message to the viewers because I firmly believe that being positive in a world full of negativity matters. In my artwork, you are captivated by bright, vivid colors to demonstrate the illumination of hope and resilience I delight in creating in my work. As a graphic designer educated in design using adobe illustrator and photoshop and watercolor/ acrylic painting, and even a glimpse into 3D dimensional artwork.
My main inspirations for my artworks are the ability to have life experiences that shape you into the person you are and inspire self-growth, and look within to improve. As humans, we are constantly changing, and that is the beauty within my work. I like to elaborate on how society can influence us, view ourselves as a person, and evolve into a better person. My work expresses the authenticity of life and how being vulnerable and genuine is critical to being an artist.
